(Sorry - misread - thought you were asking how to cut fat down)

Most vegetarian foods that are touted as high protein are also high carb. (Beans for example) Nuts are better but calorific Anyway, I would suggest you check out fatsecret in considering foods to add.

I'm cutting my calories this time around and I've replaced cream with Almond Milk, cut my butter use in half, have half the bacon and cheese I used to. (I.e., pretty big fat reduction) I don't think meat substitutes are necessary but that's just MHO.
