My doctor advises me everyone is different. Some have them for a few years and others will have them forever. I, personally, am not willing to have HRT due to the serious side effects associated with it. But then I do not eat any frankenfoods or any foods with added chemicals etc. i eat very cleanly and since I have started doing so have had a reduction in the severity of hot flashes. And it is July in Florida! lol
