hi there,

"Chicolin" was a specific brand name for inulin powder derived from chicory roots. When it first appeared yrs ago, inulin was a unique product and very expensive. Nowadays, chicory-derived inulin powder is widely available and much cheaper .. for example Benefibre or Now Foods brand. You can also buy stevia pre-mixed with inulin for cheaper cost than 8 yrs ago . Sweetleaf is one brand; call to ask your local health food or natural foods store if they carry it or a similar product.

I use Krisda, which is a blend of inulin from chicory, erythritol and stevia(info here), but there are other brands available. Call your local health food store to see if they carry this or a similar product. Chances are good that they do!
