The last time I was doing low carb (before being diagnosed diabetic) my sweetie decided that we needed to talk to a "professional". We had a phone consult with the VA nutritionist. She was VEHEMENTLY against low carb; and made it very plain that it was not something that my hunny should ever think about doing and that I really should rethink my decision. I was just shaking my head the whole time.

I was so glad that my doctor gave me permission to go LC and that James was with me at the appointment where I got that permission.
