Great tips, Mike. I'm an LC beginner too (started Atkins on Nov. 1, 2017). A great big YES to #1. It's hard to stop decades of ingrained habits so my first 2 weeks were hard. And since I took my Before weight, I've been too scared to weigh myself. In the past (low fat diets, of course, since that's all I knew how to do), seeing my weight go up on the scale was enough to throw me off a diet out of despair and caused me to binge eat. It was the most frustrating part of trying to lose weight. This time I have decided to weigh only at long intervals (maybe once a month?) and combine it with measurements and how my clothes fit.
