Default Question about lifting weights...

I have been reading through some threads but I want to ask some questions that have been answered I am sure... but here goes.

Long story short... I gained a lot of weight with pregnancies. Lost it all on Atkins. Well I started lifting about 2 years ago (with some off periods) I have been following the classic diet for lifting (or so I have read) of 5-6 small meals a day with protein, complex carbs, and veggies. As a general rule for ME... I feel better eating LOW carb. I just prefer it. I have tried induction a few times and just didnt like how I felt while in the gym. From what I have read here, it usually passes.

I want to start induction again...

SO here are some questions:

Can you build or at least maintain muscle mass while on Atkins induction?

When you experience the weakness and just feeling "not as strong" in the gym, does this pass?

Do you REALLY need all those carbs? I am not bodybuilding... just want to really lean out... I would prefer to do it this way (Atkins OR even Paleo) and is it possible?

I have read about CKD and TKD... seems complicated... but doable.

Suggestions?
