Well, I tried it today with the 2 tupperwares. Nothing happened for a very long time using table salt. When I added rock salt, it firmed up very quickly, but only on the edges of the containers. It was rock hard there and I had to literally scrape it off the sides. Liquid in the middle. I mixed it together and ate it quickly. Not a good turnout, I'm afraid. I guess the zip-lock is the best way. I like the idea of dedicating a gallon zip-lock to the salt.
