Hi Primster. Can you post a link to the recipe? Something like cookies would be different from, say, a BBQ sauce. Sometimes, the granulated sweetener provides structure the way sugar would have and the amount might take experimenting.

Both the stevia and the erythrytol products probably tell you that they measure the same as sugar, but it seems like the taste of these sweeteners are subjective. Personally, I'd hate that licorice-y taste of stevia in baked goods, but not everyone notices it... and I probably wouldn't notice it in a spicy/savoury recipe.
