Do that almost every night. If you eat before bedtime you may be eating your progress. Sometimes get hungry in the mornings, but I try to ignore it unless it does not go away.

BTW: plain black Tea, or even iced tea, always causes me hunger pangs if I am fasted -- coffee, even black does not. I read somewhere that tea can lower BG like insulin does? Also read carbonated mineral water is more satiating than tap water.

I don't think our stomachs shrink after skipping a meal or two, but our appetite shrinks.
