MY PREVIOUS VISIT

When I was there before, I had the lamb tenderloins with the Dijon etc.. Very, very good! I also heard from others that the steak (donno which one) was great. If you order the wild salmon, they ask how you want it done. If you want it cooked but not dry, ask the server that specific question - one friend who asked was told to order it "medium". Another who didn't ask, ordered it "well done" and it was very dry - she was most unhappy.

Re appetizers, I don't have that part of the menu but I had a 24 ingredient salad as a starter (or was it 32 ingredients?). Despite the name, it is not huge, and it was very good..

The veggies I ordered were the asparagus and the mushrooms, which turned out to be too much (I took leftovers home). The asparagus were great, the mushrooms so-so. I think I'll try the green beans this time, maybe.

I did sample a couple of the "Carb" dishes (just a taste from someone else's plate) when I was there too... the roasted garlic mashed potatoes and the dirty rice. Both were (ahem) VERY good... [I'm sure you wanted to know that, right?]. The potatoes had extra virgin olive oil drizzled over the top.

Can't remember what desserts they had, since I didn't even look at the dessert menu - I was in my early days of LC'ing and very committed... But, since Karen is bringing us a nummy LC dessert, we won't have to worry about it, will we?

For those who are into alcoholic drinks, I have heard that their prices are very reasonable. I may just have a glass of red wine this time but just one, since I'll be driving..
