I've been bfing for over 2 years now and low carbing for 5, lost all of the pg weight after 6 months while on maintenance. IMO even if your body absorbs something back it is something you already had, now newly added like food. And I expect it would be added slowly and not have an insulin response. I would assume that if there is a problem it might be other hormones. Give it a bit more time and check for hidden carbs.
