TyLe, I also never got out of the so called carb flu stage years ago when doing LC for a long time. Looking back, I think adding in a salt/potassium/mag solution might have helped. I was weak, unhappy, crampy muscles and crabby...but I looked darned good!
Now days, I'm also missing a gallbladder and the difference in losing and sustaining weight loss is night and day, regardless of which regimen I use.
I've found adding in digestive enzymes helps me tremendously. I feel like I'm getting more benefit from my food. Pancreatin is what I use. I compared it to the prescription kind and its very close. I also use ox bile to aid digesting fats.
