Last year at the family party I got to the food at the end of the line and there was literally no meat left. My cousins and their families were a bunch of pigs and took it all. Luckily I had brought a green salad (there wasn't one) and a little cheese and meat. Someone asked me where I got the salad and I caught my niece eating all my meat sticks.

I think I am going to have to talk to my mom to see what my aunt's menu is going to be... Bring stuff if necessary and make sure to get in line before my cousins.
That is so frustrating when you have limited food choices to begin with and others who can/will eat anything gobble it up first. My DH is trained fairly well, but those I am not around every day, not so much. Keeping a stash separate from the rest of the food helps, but it just gets old sometimes.

I've been at my official goal for 7 months now (wow, it doesn't seem that long!), and while I am happy with my food choices most of the time, I do get tired of wading through menus or trying to find what works at a buffet or packing snacks just in case there are no good options. But, I'd rather deal with that than all the other stuff that came with being overweight, that's for sure!
