I experienced a hospital stay taking iodine. Didn't know I had Hashimoto's hypothyroidism (and iodine isn't a good thing to have when you have THAT!).

couldn't tell ya...I'm in the camp of: NO one should supplement with iodine until they see their blood tests for TPO AB, FT4, FT3, TSI and iodine.
