I told my pharmacist!

I tried it once, but quit in the middle of the third week as I couldn't see it was doing anything but the nightmares.

Later, I heard it might take longer to work for long-term hardcore smokers, so I tried it again. A month into it, my husband joined me. I went 3 months, he went two, and neither of us saw any effect on our desire to smoke.

At the end, I was getting desperate and using the gum to try to quit. The gum "worked" in that it felt like I was getting nicotine, so I have to assume the Chantix was not working.
