Very interesting!! I am like mary-alice, I get a real good buzz from one drag. Well, I did when I was not addicted... and as my last cig 3 days ago too - I get a head rush from one drag and my whole body felt like... well... heroin. No wonder I became addicted!!!

But, like alice, I was a "chipper" for many years - just taking that occasional hit. I was always against tobacco ; my dad was an anti-smoking crusader way back in the 1960s and I didn't rebel on that issue.

Bob, is there a relation between the fast-metabolisers and "chipping"? I suppose I should read it more carefully... I will later on. Maybe my desire to avoid addiction was working against the fast-metabolism = addiction paradigm.

Are you going to keep smoking mary-alice?
