Default Diabetes Protocol

DIABETES PROTOCOL
GTF Chromium - 500 mcg 3-4 times a day.
Vitamin D3 - 10,000 IU/day
Chelated Magnesium - 200 mg 2-4 times a day
GTF Chromium/Chromium Plus - 1st dose upon rising in the morning. Last dose just before going to bed.

Be careful to test your blood sugar more often because the GTF Chromium alone will lower blood sugar so taking the GTF with diabetes medication might take blood sugar too low. Often after 7-10 days on GTF chromium diabetes medications may have to be lowered.

Vitamin D3 - After 6 months, get your vitamin D3 levels tested. If your test results are less than 60 ng/mL, continue at the 10,000 IU for another 4-6 months and retest. If your test results are 80-100 ng/mL reduce your dose to 5,000 IU spring and summer and take 10,000 IU fall and winter.

Chelated Magnesium - Doses should be divided during the day with your last dose before going to bed.

I have been on this protocol for over 30 years. My latest A1C was 4.3.

I weigh well over 300 pounds and every time I see a new doctor;/specialist they assume I have diabetes. Often, even though I tell them I don't they insist on testing me only to say in a surprised voice, "You don't have diabetes.

Duh.

Disclaimer: I am not a doctor. I am not in the medical field. This is not medical advice. I am just relaying what I believe has worked for me. YMMV
