I don't supplement calcium due to the calcification issue. Women who supplement calcium have more coronary artery calcification than women who don't.
K2/MK7 is supposed to be really good for you and makes the calcium you do get go into the bones, not the arteries.

They seem to derive it from Natto, so I guess you could eat it. I hear it is an acquired taste, though.
