I hear you, Picky. My issue now is lack of sleep; my body wakes me up after 5–6 hours, and my cravings hit about 5:00 PM. I give myself a treat with a faux chocolate-orange mousse:
  • 8 oz. reg. plain yogurt
  • stevia to taste
  • cinnamon to taste
  • 1/4t cocoa powder
  • 1 T psyllium husks
Mix these together, and then add
  • 1/4 t orange extract
  • 1/2 t vanilla
Mix again and let stand for 5 minutes to thicken.
It's 4 carbs (the carb count for yogurt's misstated in databases, because they count the weight of the lactic acid), a relatively cheap price to stay or get back on track.
