I, too, did a 180. It started Jan1 this year. After reading "Food That Fight Cancer" I realized that not only are animal products devoid of anti-cancer molecules but some, such as red meat, may promote cancer. I'm down abut 20 lbs since then and don't feel hungry, deprived or lethargic as I often did doing Atkins style low carb. I also noticed, unexpectedly, that my skin is better. I usually get eczema on my face in the winter but it's been nonexistent since mid January. And then there is the Karma issue. If you can live without killing something, or having it killed for you, then maybe you should.
