Avandia works by decreasing your insulin resistance therefore
low glucose episodes are very unlikely.
Glyburide works by making your pancreas produce extra insulin.
I had several low glucose episodes with Glyburide.I switched to
Glipizide ER and have had no low glucose episodes.
