dangit, what was I thinking?!

I can't manage 2 days (nights) in Vancouver, so it'll have to be either the dinner fest or Karen's class...and since I've been wanting to attend one of those for one heck of a long time, it's really no contest (sorry, y'all!).

If only there was a late ferry -- a.k.a. The Islanders' Lament...
