Default In Michigan, source for turkeys

For those around Michigan, especially Heartland, there's a great farm where I used to get my free-range turkeys. They eat mainly grains but they're free to eat any bugs they find, and they do. These are great tasting turkeys and are very fresh. No chemicals, no hormones, lots of room, water and exercise. They're slaughtered locally and you can buy either fresh or frozen.

I got mine from them last year (US Thanksgiving) and it was amazingly tasty, even the white meat had lots of flavor! I have no connection with them, especially since I'm in North Carolina now, but I received my yearly flyer from them and that reminded me to spread the word. They also sell eggs from free-range hens, and some pork.

Check them out at www.hartlandfarms.com "cyber division of Roeske Farms".
