going to the latest post...
 

love this forum! i learn so much here.

had a question on when you go to the latest post (several ways of doing this). anyway, why does it go to the last post above it, instead of the latest post?

say you see a post with the arrow



and you click the arrow - it invariably takes you to not that last post, but the one just before it.

not a big deal. just one of those hmmmmm moments lol.

s93, when I click the arrow you pictured above, I do go to the last post on that thread (the most recent post).

Maybe it's the browser you're using? IDK??? Imma using Google Chrome...

I just tried it with Internet Explorer, and same result as with Google Chrome

You're right! I'm using Firefox 62.0.2 (32-bit). Just tried Chrome and it works ok. I try to stay away from IE (have it loaded but don't use it).

Using an ipad with safari, the arrow does not work for me at all on this forum (other forums work fine). It takes me to the first post of the thread just as if I had simply clicked on the title. I have to choose “View first unread” to get to the unread posts. Annoying.
