Some help please

Hello there, I'm new to low carbing and I've been trying to find an Australian comprehensive low carb counter book. there are plenty of low fat books with a limited section on low carb counts and there a lots of American ones which vary in carb counts. I don't want to sabotage my diet by incorrect counts.

can anyone recommend a good carb counting book?

thanks
cheers

Hi Judi, and welcome. :)

Allan Borushek's Calorie, Fat and Carbohydrate Counter is pretty good, and is available all over, at newsagents, bookshops etc.

You can also use the net, if you are on the computer. This site has the excellent MyPLAN (in yellow on the green menu bar above the posts). We also have a dedicated subforum where you can ask questions about the tool.
Allan Borushek also has a website, where you can get carb counts for specifically Aussie items at www.calorieking.com.au You don't need to join to get the info you need.

HTH :)

Thanks Rosebud

Thankyou for your reply. I do have his book already and was hoping that there was a more comprehensive one available devoted exclusively to carbs. I will have a look at his site as you have recommended.

take care
