newbie to TSP...question

Hi...my dr just told me about TSP and I have started the book and am planning on starting the diet. I have PCOS and IR and I cant do the carbs/cravings anymore

before learning about TSP just yesterday and wanting to start it I had purcahsed a 100% natural weight loss pill called proactol made from dehydrated leaves of the nutritious cactus Opuntia Fiscus-Indica it has no additives or prseservatives and it suitable for vegetarians. it claims to give you energy (not a stimulant though) and help correct your metablosim and cholsterol levels. it comes with a 120 day money back guarantee where you can send the empty packs back after 120 days if it doesnt help and get a full refund.

my question is I do not know enough about TSP to know if this pill contradicts it's philosiphy. it is advertise as a "fat binder" and makes up to 28% of fat exit your system instead of being converted into energy. I know that TSP says fat is good and to eat it, but will this pill totally hinder my schwarzbein efforts? is it doing to opposite of what TSP suggests or would it just be an "extra" to go along with schwarzbein? would it be pointless to take this while on SB?

if someone could please let me know the effects of proactol on TSP, I would be greatful. I would like to know whether to return it...it has not arrived yet. thanks!

Hi there. I dunno if you have TSPII, but on page 373, she addresses your question.

"Carbohydrate and Fat Blockers: Avoid or eliminate these toxic chemicals because they disrupt the absorption of real food. You do not need to taper off. Just stop them completely."

Now, I know the ones you are talking about are natural...but still, the basic idea remains. I think it would be better to just do TSP to the letter and focus on healing your metabolism first. After all, that is the only way that weight loss will occur healthily, if you have a damaged metabolism.

Schwarzbein always says that we are "closer than we think" to healing. Have patience and, like I said, concentrate on healing.

I really really recommend TSPII and the book "Adrenal Fatigue, The 21st Century Stress Syndrome" by James L. Wilson. I found both those books at my local library.
