A healthy change for good! (hopefully)

[INDENT]Hello everyone

I'm in my twenties and woke up one morning after my 24th birthday to realise that I had put on 10kgs over the past year

Ever since Ive tried low carbing however after 2 or 3 days of going strong I suddenly break my diet. along with the break in diet I loose my will and determination to begin once more.

I'm so unhappy with my chubby face, unhealthy eating, and tight jeans and I figured today that I cannot do this alone, I most certainly need the support of fellow "low carbers".

I hope this forum will help me stay on this healthy way of eating and at the same time loose all the excess weight (10kgs).

looking forward to hearing from you all :)

So I did the conversion 10Kg = 22 lbs. You're only 24 so it is a bit of a gain since you're in your prime metabolic years.

I suggest getting a physical, the basic chemistry and ask to measure insulin levels, how regular are your periods. Find out if there's a physical problem.

Then figure out what happened to cause the weight gain. What changed -a lot of stress, emotions, or change in living conditions, change in activity, medications?

Figure out exactly what caused you to stop the food plan. What was the stimulus, physical and mental, what did you say to yourself and how did you react?

Change isn't easy, but knowing some key information about yourself can help you find the solution.

I sort of wonder if all of the weight you gained is "excess." If your goal is 97 pounds, that only puts you three pounds over "underweight" by bmi calculators.
