For Amazon shoppers, K2 is readily available for order from multiple sellers. For those in Texas areas, HEB grocery stores carry it along with a lot of other less common health items.

Appreciate this thread! Recently watched Dr. Ken Berry's video about vitamins & supplements he recommended. Vitamins D3 and K2 were highly recommended.
Zei, it's good to know HEB carries it! Thanks! |
I have one more store to try today.....Whole Foods...... hoping for a bottle for the boys to take with for a week of camping. One has cavities, but so far has been unwilling to give up the junk foods when at his friend's house and next week wil be a disaster....

This is where I get K2, D3, and magnesium. The K2 made from MQ-7 is highly recommended, and since MQ-7 is protected by the manufacturer, any product having it must use the logo on the label. Therefore, it's a sign of good quality K2. Amazon has a few brands that display this label. |

The farmer with the Okra also cans veggies and we picked up a jar of sauerkraut. The ingredients list only salt and water.
We also got some ripe tomatoes which was an amazing treat. I almost forgot what a real tomato tastes like as apposed to those store bought hothouse tasteless ones. They also had some really nice small yellow squash and they were very good. |
Oil pulling. I have Ramiel Nagel's book Cure Tooth Decay: Heal and Prevent Cavities with Nutrition (2007) and have not started it yet - but, there is the index. So far I've looked up toothpaste (don't use flouride!) so I've got to get something else. Looked up homemade toothpaste and came across The Truth About Flouride and Homemade Toothpaste Recipe and oil pulling. Also mentioned in the book.

Watching a new to me program on TV : Food Over 50, on the Create channel.
" Omega 3's: Are they a fish story?" Well done and rather interesting!! THis chef is cooking the old school way. Caught mackerel in the old country, filleted and baked over an open fire. Then more recipes at home: 1 part hummus to 1 part smoked mackerel ( about 6 z each) ,1 lemon juiced and 1/2 c chives or green onion. Seved with celery and carrots ( and toast poiints) .... I can only think about this recipe--- macherel is my skicking point. Next up is salmon, with lemon. One fillet on a heavy duty foil, and with 1 fresh lemon juice over it all, a little cracked pepper, and line with lemon slices down the middle. AND dill, fresh!!, Dry white wine AROUND the fish on the foil- looked like 1/4 cup at most. Make foil into a packet. ANd bring up ends to look like a viking ship to act as handles. 6-8 minutes in oven or on grill. Spoon broth over fish, and add more dill. And more lemon. He served using the foil. LOL Dang, he served with baby potatoes dressed with oo. Mackerel has more omega 3 than any fish; wild caught salmon is a little better than farmed for omega 3's. Inclued a talk on the Omega 3's. ALA, EPA, DHA. Regulated genetic function with in the cells--- ( hearing this more and more, we turn on and off genes based on what we eat; Dr Lin talkes about this and why eating great quality food is very important.) Omega 6's important too, but it is about balance. Our diets are too high in 6's and too low in 3's. Fatty fish, nuts and seeds. = Best sources. SOme people need to talk to doctor first before supplementing the omegas. Ends with a tip on snorckeling for fun and exercise. |

Mixed into tomato sauce with diced onions, and grass fed beef and extra orgeano, and lemon infused oo. Will stir in kerry gold butter. Lunch for the kids. NOtice NO pasta. The dont mind. |

I have bought K2 at Walmart, so I guess some Walmarts stock it. I bought some online that I think is better though. K2 MK7. I read a book awhile ago about Vitamin D and K, and the author recommended getting the MK7 variety. See Q&A section on Amazon re MK7. MK7 |
