Anyone know of a LC friendly endo in Oregon?
 

I think it's time to find one. Anyone know of an endocrinologist in Oregon who won't tell me saturated fats will kill me, or that LC is fine so long as I include fruit and HeartHealthyWholeGrains? (I'd also prefer not to be told that my problem is sleep-eating, or that I'm lying about my symptoms and/or difficulties losing weight.)

If you are near Portland, I would forget looking for an MD endo and hook up with Nora Gedgoudas if she is taking clients.

Or, I like my naturopath, in Beaverton. Dandelion Naturopathy with Dr. Kathyrn Sawhill. She does bioidentical hormones and looks to see you are in optimal ranges, including thyroid, and not just reference ranges.

Thanks, Seejay. I'm nearer Eugene/Springfield, so was hoping to find one around there. But then again, it would be a good excuse to go to Portland, see a new doc, get to Powell's... ;)

Man you would think there'd be a ton of progressive providers in Eugene!
