Good Thursday Morning Check In

Hi folks.
You know I was going to say, "seniors" but I really don't feel like a senior. The wrinkles are still there, the aged spots freckle my hands, the arthritis keeps the asprin company in business, but darn it, I just don't feel 65 or what I thought 65 would feel like when I was 25.
Today was a good day, I woke up at least a pound lighter and if I were optimistic I would stay two pounds but I don't want to push my luck.

Good morning BluePants and congratulation on the 1+ lb loss. I'm on my fourth day of induction and I lost my 4 lbs of water the first three days--now the real work begins. I don't feel 61 except that my knees hurt when I try to get up or sit down. I think that is because I don't exercise so that is my goal for now besides remaining on induction.

Have a good day!

May I join you here? I am 62, and i too am beginning to look older with the age spots, wrinkles etc, even the old arthritis to in the bones. But I still have some pick up and go left in me, not dead yet............
I am trying now to lose some of this weight that I have put on over the years so help me out here. I am new to low carb and thats what I have started on.
Even making my husband try it, he just doesn't know it yet.

I'm still here and 61. I find that I'm looking at the adverts on removing age spots a whole lot more closely than I use to!

Doing good with my eating. How about you?
Had a egg and some bacon for breakfast and my coffee. I cannot give up my morning coffee, have to have it to wake up.
Do any of you drink coffee? Is is ok to drink it on low carb?

Got to go buy some bathroom scales because I do not own any. What is the best ones to buy?
How often do you weigh yourself? I heard that weighing to much just discourages your weight loss, is that true?

Sorry if I am asking so many questions but I am new to this eating plan and just need to know these things.
