Hi! Just curious as to how many of you belonging to this site are from BC.....i live in the Shuswap area.
I just started CAD a week ago and now that i found this site i look forward to all the support i can get...
Hope to get to know some of you as we plug along together!

Nat, you forgot our own remarkable Rachel the moderator. There have been very few sightings of Rachel in the last month, (she's really busy working and we hope she can come out to play soon.) Rachel is a wonderful source of humour, information and support.

Hi Bubbles! I too am new - this being day 1 for me - doing Atkins - have tried numerous times before - but have never belonged to a support group or had so much info at my fingertips - so am hoping this is it! I'm from the Vancouver area - :) Keep up the good work Chewie

I think we have many members from Victoria and the island as well as the rest of BC. Welcome aboard :)

Why don't you islanders do a get together, sort of a low-carb dinner thingy? We do this often in Vancouver (so does our U.K. members). Would be great if we can spread the fever! :)

I'd love to. just let me know the details....Thanks! It will be great to meet someone who won't tell me this woe will make me sick!! On a side note... saw the doctor the other day and he said he felt this was the best eating plan there is....that was encouraging!

We (Ruthie and I) haven't arranged the details yet, but this would probably be an ideal time to do so....

Both Ruth and I have developed a fondness for affordable Greek food (blame it on those Vancouverites and Stephos restaurant). There are a couple of quite yummy Greek places here in Vic! I'm all for that, I'll just find out which ones are
(a) open on Monday the 10th, and
(b) not booked for some kind of Christmas party....

To do this (Ruth's MUCH better at it but she ain't here), I'll need a headcount, soooooooo:
