New Beginnings
 

Hi Everyone,
I registered on this site last year, but never did anything with it. I got consumed with events that occurred in life and didn't take time for myself. I want to learn more and find people to connect with to help and encourage each other. Low Carb lifestyle is something that I desire to live. I have tried other things, but cutting down on Carbs really helps me. My mind seems more clear, more energy and of course weight loss. My Husband does not do the low carb, so I am on my own in our household. I think he may adjust accordingly with meals when he sees the improvements in my overall health.

I am 52 years old, very Happily Married, 5 Kids ages 19 thru 32, and 2 Grandsons ages 11 and 4 Weeks.
We just relocated to La Pine, Oregon after our last daughter graduated High School. I am looking forward to being more active in the Community and hopefully gain some new friends here :wave:

I always wanted to move to Oregon. Let us know how you like it there.

This is a supporting and friendly group, practicing all kinds of versions of LC. I think you'll find it a good place to practice and grow.

If you haven't already, read around, especially the journals where people share their ups and downs. This will prepare you for your own.
