Anybody look into the SANE approach?

I started reading and watching stuff from Jonathan Bailor a while back, and he's presented some really useful information. The SANE system he promotes isn't exactly the same as other low carb plans, but it can pretty happily coexist with them, and it provides an excellent basis for healthy eating.

When I started seeing his material, I was really happy that it was common sense information, and it was freely offered. Since then he's been pushing books, food items, and lots of other stuff. That makes me sad, because the original premise, while perfectly valid, is getting drowned in commercialism, much in the way that Dr. Atkins' approach was corporatized and turned into a sales and marketing machine.

Anyway, I was wondering if anybody here has looked into his information.
