RM problems

Anyone have trouble eating their reward meal?

For example, tonight I had baked chicken with a curry sauce, green beans, a baked sweet potato and mixed green salad. I ate the chicken, green beans, and some of the salad, and I'm stuffed, can't finish it. I had two CMs today - eggs for breakfast, and chicken salad with green salad for lunch.

I've gone from being hungry all the time to having a decreased appetite. I'm losing slowly but surely. The books say not to skip the RM.

Are smaller portions the answer, or am I not eating enough and it's killing my appetite too much?

Thanks!

Eat to fullness. For you that means smaller portions. Keep it balanced.

great answer.
I don't think your appetite is reduced from not eating enough- it's from eating the right foods. As the Hellers write, by reducing the frequency and amount of carbs you reduce insulin. Insulin stimulates appetite.

Thanks for the replies!
I'm going to have to learn to adjust my portion sizes, I guess, and not serve myself as much as I used to. Glad to hear that this is my insulin levels dropping.
