I'm in Vancouver. Also over 50 and near goal. I've been low-carbing since about 2000. I was down about 10 pounds from where I am now, but have regained some with menopause .... wahhhh! Still working on it, definitely here for the long haul.

I don't know Fraser Lake but I have friends in PG and have visited there several times.

Hi Rachel

Wow, 1 pound away from goal. I will be reading how you did it. That is so cool.
I am over menopause so I am hoping that will be one less thing to cope with on my maintenance.

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you have a great weekend.

Hi,

Yes it was shut for a couple of days because of two small mudslides. I don't know they shut it because it was pretty minor and could have kept the walking lane open. Certainly not like the rock slide on the Sea to Sky hwy.

Take care,

Hi cygirl,
I'm one of those strange ducks that like the coast weather. I grew up shoveling snow and thirty below weather so I I don't mind rain.
Take care. :)

Yes only slush on the coast  No real snow

Being born and raised in the rain I guess i notice a huge change cause now im in the desert of BC.

Even if it gets cold here we have lots of sunshine :agree:

I lived briefly in Kamloops and didn't stay long because I missed trees. To each their own. My friends are in Mexico now so you would be at home there.

Take care,
Felix

No I like our 4 seasons.

We just drove threw Kamloops to go to the Armstrong rodeo and i couldnt beleive how it has grown.
I live surrounded by mountains and walking distance to the beach.I wont give either up ever.
