I am wondering....If I buy the SF Jello pudding and make it with cream not milk, what the carb count would be? How do I figure it out (I am thinking this is going to be a really 'duh' answer  ) ? I just love pudding and really don't love it enough to buy it from atkins, is there a way to make it at home and have it still taste like pudding? :)

What if you look at the back of the pudding box and see how many carbs are in just the mix and not the pudding when fixed. Then add the pint of cream and look at the carbs in that pint. Now divide by the servings you get. Wouldn't that give you the carb count?
Another creamy solution I found is: Take Jello, heat it with a 1/2 cup cream and 1/2 cup water. When desolved add a 8oz package of cream cheese (Phillidelphia is a good low carb choice)8 servings has less carbs than the pervious treat and it takes great.

When I was looking at the SF Jell-O Pudding I saw that it had Starch in it.

Thanks, the only problem is I really hate Jello. I saw the starch too, and am wondering if I just had it once in a while, if that would be ok. Or any home made recipies. I made custard, and I don't like how it tasted so much like egg. Not my idea of a good treat  I am not really one for experimenting with recipies so I was hoping maybe someone had either a recipe or an alternative to offer :help:
Thanks everyone :)
