This seems like a dumb question, but can you make tortilla chips from the low-carb tortillas? Either by deep-frying them or by baking them? Does anyone know about this, or tried it? Thanks for the info!!

Hey Wanda -
I didn't make them myself. I ordered them from that store that is listed on this website. I can get you the name of the store if you want. Anyway, they are so-so. That was why I was wanting to make chips out of them, because I may not be able to use them. But if you are serious about the low-carbing, I'm sure that you would like these tortillas.
I really need to get back with it. I've gained a little back
Anyway, the shipping wasn't too bad and they have lots of products that you might find useful!
Hope this helps!

I found a wonderful alternative for taco shells . I have also broken them up and used them as chips, pretty simple really, put a pile of shredded chedder cheese in a hot nonstick pan, allow the cheese to slightly brown on one side, flip it over just long enough for the cheese to set . use a spatulla take it out of the pan , becarfull if VERY hot and bend it allow it to cool and ur partener will trade u taco shells your taco shells for thier high carb tortilla any day . LOL :D
