I am with Nancy on that. Tandoori chicken, fish, mixed grill etc. Is always a great option. I usually eat that with raita.
Chicken Tikka Masala shouldnt be particularly high in carbs either. Just avoid the rice and nan. At a local restaurant they list both of those as good low carb options.

Me, I try not to think of peas, and just go straight for the Palak Paneer (Kashmir Spinach). Yum-O!

I happened to go out to an indian restaurant for their lunch buffet today. They had something interesting called Paneer Tamatari which was delicious and I believe low carb. It was just the paneer in a tomato sauce with lots of spices. I also had a little bit of their butter chicken, steamed veggies with garam masala, tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, a cauliflower curry (I forget the name but it was pretty good, I just had a couple of bites) and a mug of chai with a splash of rose water, some heavy cream and splenda.

To be honest, as long you steer clear of the rice, bread (naaan, roti, chapati etc) and potatoes (Bombay potatoes, aloo bhaji) you shouldn't haven't a problem.

Hope you enjoy it ... I love Indian food :yum:

Thank you so much you guys!! I thought maybe the sauces used a flour base or something like that to give it the thickness... but I really have no idea. I mean it might be crushed chik peas for all I know!

I enjoyed it immensely. :agree: :D
