Hi all - wondering if anyone has made their own diet cola using stevia (or a sugar alcohol, if you're into that) instead of aspartame, Splenda, etc.?
I'm wondering whether there are any cola bases/flavorings/whatever that have made a passable diet cola for you?
(Or for that matter, any store brand colas using aspartame or a sugar alcohol that you've tried that are actually good?)
Thanks.

Are you avoiding splenda? Diet rite makes a phenomenal splenda sweetened cola.
Nature's Flavors sells a cola flavor concentrate:

They also sell a xylitol sweetened syrup:

You could also try making your own:

Without the cocaine, of course ;)

Awww come on! What kind of authenticity would we be recreating if we started leaving vital ingredients out of our cooking!

Thanks - I was looking at making my own but before that wanted to see if anyone had actually found and tried an already-made alternative. I saw the Nature's Flavors site- has anyone tasted their cola flavorings?
(They sell the flavorings that would be necessary to concoct your own and even the citric and phosphoric acid. So may have to go the mad scientist route!)
