After all my self righteous talk about how I would refuse to go off low carb for the holidays, I did. Well, I did excellently during Christmas, but decided to have a drink (distilled liquor) over new years, which turned into several, which turned into lots of eating. Mostly, it was eating sushi and chinese food, but still far more (including rice) which I would not have done had I not been drinking. So, today I feel bloated and puffy with nerves and muscles twitching, as if I'm coming down from a major party weekend...which is the case. So...I'm drinking lots of water, trying to cleanse my system and get back on the right WOE.

SUSHI - Mmmmmmmmmmm
I would die for some good sushi. No local place to have it. Can live on LC for ever but don't let a piece of sushi come into sight. My daughter and I are already scoping out the sushi restuarants in London for our visit there in May.
Glad to hear you are back on track. :cheer:

What can we say, Tikerberi???
You've already taken control of the situation !! And at least it wasn't a binge that lasted for days--- you should be able to get right back into ketosis with a few days of induction.
I almost bought 6 jelly donuts today!!!! Had to hurry through the express checker and get the heck out of the store!! All the sudden, they just looked like the most delicious things I'd ever seen (and I would have eaten every one of them today too!)
I think we're all just an inch away from slipping up!!!

Hi Jeff,
There's quite a few of us Vancouverites around here. :) Keep an eye on the local groups forum, we usually have a meeting once a month or so.
