Hi. I moved this to the Nutrition and Supplements forum. I haven't seen any hoodia threads lately, but if you go to the top of the forum (http://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdisplay.php?f=131), there's a green box that says "search this forum." There were lots of threads when hoodia was the the diet-pill-du-jour.

I saw a doctor on FOX News the other day. He said hoodia is only effective in it's original form, a cactus (endangered and only grown in Africa). He said none of the drug companies found a way to make it work for exporting to other countries. He said that is why so many synthetics are available. Nobody can prove it does anything at all in that form. Good Luck!

Not a big shocker - that stuff doesn't work at all.

I've used Hoodia Supreme, and I've actually had some appetite supression from it without feeling jittery or wired, as have others.

I suppose there are people who'll tell me it's all in my head, but I notice a difference when I use it. It seems to make it easier to turn down the extra food I might otherwise reach for. That's good enough for me. ;)
