I can't do this without fitday, and it hasn't been letting me select from my custom foods for the last 2 days.
Can anyone tell me an alternative site that lets you calculate the nutritional content of your foods?
Thanks

Hi Med (long time no see)
look up near the top of your screen - the green line with white printing - you see - User CP - FAQ and all that - well near the end you will see MyP.L.A.N. - that is the forums own tool that is similar to fitday. You can even enter custom items in it if you like. That should help you out.

Hi Koko!
Nice to see you.
I just had a quick go at putting in an omelet, and it didn't work, so i'll need to read the instructions when i have more time.
I have spent so much time customising fitday, i am heartbroken that it doesn't want me any more!

I know what you mean Med - I have the fitdayPC and the thought of EVER losing all the customized items is unthinkable. That's the only reason I'm not using the myplan - just the thought of sitting here surrounded by all those tins and boxes and labels - typing all that in all over again.
Maybe fitday is just having some temporary problem. It's so long since I used the online version of it I have no idea what could be going on with them.
I found the cost of the home version of Fitday worth ever penny and it ensures (as long as you back up and then burn it to a cd) that you will never lose your customized items again. The only thing is you can't copy your customized stuff from the online version to the home version, but it helps knowing it will be safe forever once it's done.

Thanks, Koko.
If fitday doesn't come back, then it sounds like i should buy it!
After all this time, i really ought to be able to manage without it, but it helps to keep me on the straight and narrow, and more importantly, it tells me what allowance is left for suppertime!

I wish I had an answer for you, but sorry I don't. I did go to fitday and I'm sorry to tell you that my custom items are still there. Have you tried the help screen there?

I had no problem with FitDay today. Maybe it's a temporary glitch for you.
