These are awesome!!! The quiches baked up like huge muffins.
My variation...finely chop 4 strips of bacon. Lightly brown the bacon, chopped onion and ham in a frying pan with a couple of pats of butter before mixing it into the egg and cream mixture.
I let mine cool to room temp before eating. I'm not a big egg fan, and cold eggs plus the extra ingredients didn't remind me so much that these are eggs.
All the cream and cheese didn't seem to bother my lactose sensitivity (which is kind of irratic) so these little guys look like they will become a favorite. Hubby loved them too, which helps get rid of them before they go stale. Cooking for only 2 is challenging when quantities are large.

This is user 'blossom'.. not adnil53 but reply to whoever :)
I am making this recipe now, but the cheese part seems to be left out of the recipe. I am the kind of person that has to have a map... so :daze: I kinda need to be told when to add things. I am going to add it after the meat to the egg mixture... Hope it is right :)

That was sooo good.. I want more! :)
This is really 'blossom' now lol...
I had a few variations:
chicken deli meat and 3 slices summer sausage chopped in place of ham
and colby-jack cheese in place of swiss
Mrs. Dash... just a dash ;) instead of the seasonings mentioned
It was delicious. My mom had two pieces it was so good :p
Next time I will try to follow the actual recipe to get a different taste :D
Anyways, thanks for such a tasty meal. It will be a favorite for any meal :)

I just made this for lunch and finished my second serving! I went by the recipe and when I put it in the oven and began to clean up, I noticed that I had not put in the cheese. I quickly pulled the pan out of the oven and stirred in the cheese. If you print this out for your "must have" recipes (as I am), be sure to add the cheese in when you stir in the ham and onions.
I baked mine in an 8" square pan for about 35 minutes - had it with a salad - wonderful!!!
