Hi,
When we use herbs and spice in the recipe ( am not talking about onion and garlic powder here), do they add significant carbs? Do we need to count those carbs?
thanks

Take heart - these flavors are so strong, they are usually spread over quite a few portions. Unless you are in a major carb-restriction (which hopefully doesn't last long), they shouldn't make all that much difference carb-wise - and a lot of difference, flavor-wise.

Cayenne (dried hot chilis) are a special case. Because they irritate the lining of the stomach/intestines, the body tends to rush them through undigested.
