I've never been a big nut eater, but as many here have mentioned, I discovered Macadamia nuts once I began this WOE. I found a local source for bulk, raw macadamia nuts and I find them quite good this way, a little sweeter than the roasted, salted kind. But I would like to roast and salt some of them, and perhaps experiment with toppings.
Anyone able to give me directions on how to roast a small batch of macadamias? What oil should I use, if any, (dry roasting anyone?) and when, how to add salt or other toppings? What's the best way to store the raw nuts, and the roasted ones?
Thanks!!
