I was thinking about starting to take L-Carnitine or some other supplements, but then I think: what's the point? I'm not gonna take that junk forever and as soon as I stop, all the effects will be reversed. Anyone have any advice to the contrary? I also have considered Relacore, but am reluctant to take anything that has not been subjected to scientific studies (don't want another Ephedra). Thanks for your advice.

Why are you trying to lose more weight? You are already underweight for a 5'11" man. Something to think about: Men can have eating disorders too.

kingb, you seem to be in my shoes. Lost a lot of weight (i'm 5'11.5-6'0ish) and now weigh UNDER what you should. However you still look down and see fat in places probably...
My advice, tone the muscles and bulk, regain some weight then cut down on a CKD diet so you don't lose the muscle again.. (this is all on the assumption you lost a lot of muscle).

Thanks.
To clarify, I do NOT want to lose any more weight. Right now I'm in the 40th percentile for weight so losing any more wouldn't be good.
Bfdzio - You have it right on the money. It just seems that no matter how much I lift, I never gain any real degree of toning. I still have a flabby gut and, while not man-boobs, toneless pecs. I frankly am frightened that if I do something like CKD or TKD that includes carb-up days I'll gain weight. It's just that until now, I've been overweight my whole life and I'm terrified of the prospect of going back there, so to speak.
Also, recently I've been feeling fatigued and tired. Could this be from lack of carbs or is there a supplement that could help with that? I have about 30-40 carbs a day, mostly from veggies and low carb cereal. In addition, I have one LC treat a day that has about 10 g of sugar alcohol and 2 net carbs. Any advice?
THANKS!

My advice is give the CKD a try for a few weeks, I promise you won't gain weight if you follow it properly, or like me, I do it loosely and I still don't gain.

Where can I find the info on how to do it right? Is there a book or a website or something?

There is the forum CKD/Body Opus on the page. Make sure you read the entire thread "CKD 101" by TrainerDan, who also runs a website on the workout he prefers.
The book is called "The Ketogenic Diet" which I would say to buy once you get going, I have not bought it yet, but thats because it is about $35.
