so, i bought some LC bread for the 1st time... then i bought a 2nd loaf. there were a few slices left in the 1st one, but i just left em there to get stale so i could use em as croutons or breading or feed the ducks or whatever, but they got moldy??? ive never had bread get moldy. is this typical of LC bread? ive only ever seen bread get hard and stale. wierd.

I have to keep mine in the fridge or the whole bag gets moldy - fast. Next time try putting it on a rack to dry out. Maybe it's the mositure under it that is causing it to mold.

Bread must not last long at your house, If I don't seperate and freeze, I will through 2/3 of a loaf away because of mold, before it is used.

Some commercial breads have so much preservative in the ingredients that not even mold can live on them!
