Odd name I know... found this on CarbWire and made it for dinner tonight... yummy! (I'm guessing next to zero carbs)

Check out the "similar threads" list at the very bottom of this page. There is a link there to Dana Carpender's Heroin Wings.
The board has now indexed itsself and will display threads that talk about the same things at the bottom of every page.

We made these the other night, using boneless skinless chicken breasts cut up into about 3-bite size.
Seemed a bit salty; parmesan is already salty. The quantity of green herbs was a little high which coming from me is funny as I'm a spice nut. My husband and I thought a pinch of cayenne powder and some red pepper flakes would have made these spicier on the hot side which would be neat. The parmesan is very strong and I think a % of it mixed with romano perhaps would be good too. Overall, the recipe was "good", these are just the things that DH and I decided we would do next time.
DD, age 10, though they were perfect. We dipped them in blue cheese dressing.

Could you post the recipe? The link doesn't like my computer. Says Invalid. Thank you.

I got the error too.
Well I can't confirm this is identical to the original that was linked, and the caveats about my results with it should go here, but this is from the email I sent my husband asking him to make it for us, back when the link appeared to be working:
Heroin (also called Angel, by Atkins) Wings
4 pounds chicken wings *** or chicken breasts.
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tablespoons dried parsley
1 Tablespoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons paprika
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup butter, melted
option: couple gloves of garlic sliced thin
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cut the chicken into pieces (one- or two-bites size)
3. Combine the parmesan cheese and the parsley, oregano, paprika,
salt, garlic and pepper in a bowl.
4. Line a shallow baking pan with foil.( if you don't do this you
will be sorry cause you will be scrubbing on this pan a week later!).
5. Melt the butter in a shallow bowl or pan.
6. Dip each chicken piece well in butter, roll in the cheese and
seasoning mixture, and arranged in the foil-lined pan.
7. Bake for 1 hour, and then kick yourself for not making a double
recipe.
Makes about 50 pieces, each with only a trace of carbs, a trace of fiber and 4 grams of protein.

I liked them when I made it long ago. But the kids hated them.

rightnow, Thank you so much! :bhug:   I needed something low carb and good (ie have to eat the whole batch myself probably) for breakfast and lunch. I like eggs, but I'm trying to get my cholesterol results to go down, so I'm eating them lightly..
Again, THANK YOU!!

My wife didn't like these, but I did somewhat. Next time I'll cut down on the parsley. Also, the coating didn't coat hardly any of the wings I was expecting, so I had to make more.
