 Hi all,
My husband and I just bought a fifth wheeler last August and we both are into LCarbing. He is a HS football coach so the fall isn't a good time for us to go camping, although we do try to get away even if it is just for a weekend. Anyway, all winter I have been trying to develop some LC meals that we can take with us this summer. As I said, we just bought the fifth wheeler and have not been camping yet so if any of you have LC recipes, please pass them along. They would be greatly appreciated and if I can pass along some of mine, just yell!!
Thanks in advance!

I must be dense.
Why would the menu in a fifth wheeler be any different than it is in your kitchen at home?
Meat, cheese, eggs, salads and berries. With nuts for snacking. In all the forms that you happen to favor. The recipe section has hundreds of tasty choices.

Greetings,
Just another challenge along the way, and it IS a challenge. Thankfully, in recent years, it's certainly become easier and easier.
We never leave home without it!! It being the best loved protein bars for long days on the road and our favorite low carb tortillas. We're about to head out on a 3 month trip, so planning is the key.
There's alot to it, but it is ultimately doable - just don't do too many "frankenfoods", as the other members have pointed out, fresh meats, greens and all other lc goodies are available no matter where you go.
If you've got any preparation questions, give me a holler, I'll help if I can.
Have a good trip!!
Holly

Thanks Holly for your advice--I will keep your e-mail in mind, in fact I am making a copy as I write this--by the way, have a great time on your 3 month get-a-way.

Maren,
Are you cooking inside or outside? We tent camp and I find that low-carb is pretty easy. About the same variety as at home. Grill, Grill, Grill, Foil packet meals (chicken with broccoli, cheese), Kabobs, Bacon/eggs (miss the potatos), etc...
